secondaries before mcat?

Hey guys, is it common to get secondaries before taking the mcat? I'm schedule to take it in a couple weeks but had amcas verify my apps already. I just wasn't sure why some schools are already sending me secondaries.

It happens. They probably just won't consider your application complete for review until they do have your MCAT scores. It'll be nice to get some of those apps out of the way! I know that was one of the biggest drags of the whole process.

Very common. Unless the school screens before giving out secondaries, you will get one.
