Secondaries : Did you receive them yet?

HI guys any comments would be appreciated: For the following schools , did any of you receive their secondaries yet?


Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences Colleges
Touro College College of Medicine -CA, Nevada, NY

Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine
Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, FL
 
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember hearing at UMDNJ (Rowan) didn't send out secondaries but instead was found on the website? I'm also not surprised you haven't gotten anything from TU-CA. Last cycle they took foreeeeeever to give them out.
 
Rowan sent and email with the prompts. It also stated their online submission will be open approx. Aug. 1st.

Nova I have received. I think everyone receives one.

I received the Touro CA secondary last week, but I haven't heard from Touro NV.
 
I got the Touro CA secondary like 2 days ago. verified 7/10
 
Verified last Thursday. Only have the automatic secondary by MSUCOM. Will see what's going on by tomorrow. Really hoping to receive OUHCOM, KCUMB, WesternU, ATSU, and NYITCOM (these guys don't send out secondary notifications right?)

Correct! You can get the NYIT secondary anytime. Doesn't take too long to complete actually, I was pretty shocked.

u got verified last thursday? so ur application is not released to school yet so how is this possible?

if they dont send out notification how do we know we got the secondaries? create account for each school?

NO CLUE. But I received an email from them. I think MSUCOM is different in that they probably have an auto-send function upon notification of a pending application, just a hypothesis haha. But I'm almost done with it and will turn it in tomorrow or Wednesday.

how about the schools that don't send notification? you just make the accounts for the schools and check the account?

Well I meant that AACOMAS might send a notification of an upcoming application to be released and accessed on Tuesday. The other schools have not contacted me yet so I'm assuming those wait to take a look at your primary first?

Have you gotten the MSUCOM secondary yet?

I thought AACOMAS said the applications will be released on Wednesday and the schools will be able to view them on Thursday? or something like that.

No my AACOMAS is verified on Last Friday. Do you know if MSUCOM has significant instate bias other than that 80k tuition pricetag?

Apps verified Tuesday morning are available to colleges Wednesday and AACOMAS will not how and update receipt per school until Thursday.

I'm assuming that because it's affiliated with a public university that they have some in-state bias. But perhaps the 80K tuition is enough to show that and/or enough to keep OOS's from not considering their program?

Are you set on any particular school?

I want to go to either ATSU-SOMA, LECOM-B or LECOM-E, or Tuoro-Nevada.
LMU is a good alternative 🙂 I don't have demographic constraints so any school is good 🙂

Nice! I too have no constraints but I really want KCUMB, OUHCOM, WesternU, or MSU. But I'm happy to go to any and am sure that all the other programs would be well suited as well!
