Has anyone gotten the hard copy or the email version of the secondary app??

If so, does it say if they are willing to except a copy of the LORs or does it have to be an original copy?

"2. Request two letters of recommendation. In order to contain the
high volume of paperwork and to ensure an equitable review of
candidates, only the first two letters received will be accepted. One
letter must be from a physician, a letter from an osteopathic physician,
signed as such, is highly recommended (an MD letter may be substituted).
We prefer the second letter be from a pre-health advisor or committee, a
science faculty member or other faculty member will also be acceptable.
To expedite letters received, please make sure it contains your full
legal name and social security number. Only those letters sent directly
from the evaluator will be accepted. If you previously applied to
AZCOM, you must submit new letters."

but that doesn't tell me if it has to be an original or not

if you have a preprofessional health advising office, or something of the like, who will send your letters out, i'm pretty sure they'll accept them. as long as you're not sending the copies... you can always call them for the final word.

i believe that AZCOM is participating in a trial of a new system being used for letter packets. your advising office uploads them to a database where AZCOM can access them.

I believe I posted the only thing it said in the letter or in the app about it. If you want opinions or anecdotes from people who applied previously, that's fine, but realize that if you want something official, you should contact the school.

My opinion is that a copy of the original should be fine as long as it comes from your pre-med office or a letter service that keeps it confidential, like Interfolio. This line in the letter (that I posted) contradicts that, though: "Only those letters sent directly from the evaluator will be accepted." Clearly a LOR written by a DO but mailed through your pre-med office or Interfolio does not adhere to that requirement.

Hey, look, another opinion!

Since you're going to KCOM, I assume you don't work for AZCOM?
