I was checking out the MD/PhD online secondaries that are already available and I noticed that many of them have cover sheets for the LOR with areas for the recommenders to rank the applicant, etc. I already got LORs for my premed committee and they take care of forwarding the letters to interested schools, it makes it a lot easier on the recommenders. Do admissions committees expect me to return to my recommenders with a new pile of secondary LOR cover sheets every couple of weeks to be added to their LOR, or do they not really care about the cover sheet? Thanks for your advice.

In my experience, the schools did not care about these forms. I would, however, double check with the particular school.

I agree with surge. I know a number of people who complied with their requests for cover sheets and were rejected (myself included) and I know a number of people who did not and were accepted.

If you really wanna send them in, they have to go straight to the recommender. Imagine if EVERY school wanted these? They should be abolished. Rant mode out 🙂
