Secondaries ONLINE?

I plan to study abroad this summer, and there will likely be limited internet...I'll also be submitting my application for medical school in June. With that said, are secondaries mailed in paper form or emailed? Thanks

Most are online. Some are mailed.

Some require a "passport-sized photograph" too, either uploaded or mailed...

I imagine they put your photo up on a giant projector in a darkroom and then a bunch of sinister hooded figures discuss your fate.
