YEah they just fixed mine after 2 emails a phone call and whimper. My complete status was done a while ago, but they updated it today, go figure. Silly Rush.

You have that phone# handy? They seem to know their secondary is a piece of $hit.... can't find their phone number for some reason.....go figure 🙄

Wake sent an acknowledgement email a couple weeks back with an ID and student number.

I think people meant that they had not heard anything since then about getting a secondary.

OK... now I see. I have yet to receive any confirmation of any sort from them since my AMCAS verification July 11. I've heard from 5 other schools, either by way of secondary or verification of screening for secondaries, so not hearing from Wake is curious to me.

No worrie dawgs07 I haven't recieved confirmation from Wake either. I asked and they said they were sending out login information when your app was about to be reviewed, so it is just coming in batches.

Along with Wake's secondary is a form that each of the evaluators is to fill out. My school has them fill out a general med school eval sheet in addition to their letter already--and that is sent through VE. Are you guys going back to each of your evaluators to get these forms (I think Vandy does something similar) or just submittign what you have and seeing if Wake says something? 🙁

I didn't notice it when I looked at it online, but when I printed it out, it said you only have to give it to people if you're having individuals write you letters as opposed to a committee member.


As for when I got it...this morning, around 10:00 am, and I've been verified since July 3.

I called Albany and they told me that they haven't download any imformation from AMCAS yet. The lady on the phone told me they will probably do it in the next 2-3 weeks. Then they will email everyone a pin and password.

I was just at LUMC and I saw many people with 35+ MCAT scores and when I was there during interview season I knew a lot of people with enormous stats interviewing there? I don't think that info you got is right, Loyola is one of the many schools that really take a deep look at your application, just ask Dr. Lee.

Hey yall, Yolony has just told me that he has received e-mail invite from Upstate to fill out their secondary? Has anyone else received this?

Does anyone have the admissions email address from Upstate-Syracuse (maybe on their secondary app invitation)? Their FAQs state that they do not screen, but I've not heard anything from them yet (my AMCAS has been verified).

im convinced that the mcat hates me ....the medical comittee thought the same thing as you did.....who knows..confused: :

i think its becasue i learn what i need to in order to ace the test and then try and forget it as soon as possible....but when i decided to go premed....i found that the stuff i forgot was what i needed to know......i only had 3 months to study for it (along with my 19 unit course load)........if i dont get in this cycle i will retake it and relearn the stuff = 42+ on next one

For those of you who were approved for UC Irvine's secondary, did you all take biochem lab? I'm a little confused on their course requirements and I'm still waiting for their reply, but that would totally suck if I couldn't apply because I don't have biochem lab.

my school doesnt have a comittee (ucla) but they do offer a service that colllects all letters and then sends them to as many grad schools as you want......i did ask a little late....i know my fault...just wonderring if its enought to pack up my bags and just apply next year......i have a 4.0 science and 3.94 cumulative with 30 Q mcat......just wondering if i am too handicapped by the lateness.......since i already have gotten around10 seconda...

oh he meant that ......bashing of URM....thats not the point of this thread.....im trying to help my friend.....we both want to go to the same school.....my mcat is 34R 4.0/3.94......i just wanted to know if she should list URM to help her get into schools that i will get into since her scores are lower.......

yes i agree.. anyone i know who has near a 4.0 around here got at least a 36... i have a lowly 32 but a gpa to match (gpa's a little low because of a family illness)... but anyway.. with the number of meanies ive met at berkeley, i think he's from berkeley.
