I don't know i may not be reading the cover sheet right, but I THINK their sending secondaries to people their interviewing....but, I don't know what their policy or how they work. Good luck to ya'll!

passed the loyola screening today 🙂 I got a small envelope and was convinced it was a rejection till I opened it... hahah

come on drexel... you're the only one I haven't heard from!!

anyone else still waiting for Albany?

Also, anyone else get the Yale email that says "Thank You and Invitation" but then it's just inviting you to fill out the secondary. which i filled out months ago. At least the email was uber-friendly.

No I have Albany.
Yes I got the Yale email asking for money so they can send me a rejection 10 days later.

Yep, I have now gotten that email THREE times! The second and third times I was thinking it was an interview invite.... but no!! Just another invite to fill out the secondary (which was complete with LORs on 7/21).

Is it a bad thing that since submitting my AMCAS on June 21st I haven't heard a single thing from UCLA and their login page doesn't recognize me?

Yesterday night I received an email from Yale asking me to complete their secondary which I already did and received a complete status from their web page. I really do think that the ADCOMs are aiming to get our hopes up and then kill them. The email's heading was: Yale Invite. I was so excited. Inside the email said, sorry if you are receiving this twice and something about difficulties. 🙁

About Duke and Emory, I know we are waiting for Aug 15th for both secondaries, but does anyone know where we can find last year's secondary questions from these schools? I usually just nap and cruise this site all day, so I thought I could be productive instead. 🙂

Short essay questions:
1. Please describe any element within your candidacy not fully-addressed on the AMCAS application that you want the Admissions Committee to consider.
2. Please outline how you might add to the overall diversity of the medical school and the practice of medicine. This could reference specific personal traits, education, life experiences, etc.

And for any re-applicants:
In the space provided below, please provide the Admissions Committee with a brief application history (including when you first applied and the number of application attempts). Please discuss any counseling that you may have sought from the Admissions Office; and most importantly, please describe in detail the ways in which this application is superior to previous applications.

how long does it take for USC to send a secondary, i have been verified for over a month and i have checked my email but i am pretty sure no USC, is that bad news?

USC does not screen. so no it's not bad news. i guess u just have to wait. sorry 🙁

Yeah, what the heck? Them and UCSF are the only ones I'm waiting on...

Now if only I could get someone else to write that 2-page biography for UCSD for me...
