Secondaries to anyone?

Hey everyone, I just wanted to ask to see if anyone knows if certain schools just give secondaries to everyone that applies or if they really filter out people during primary. (Specifically Ohio and PCOM) any response would be helpful! thanks!

I think PCOM sends it to everyone. CCOM and COMP may screen to some degree.

well, Nova sent me a secondary two days after my AACOMAS was submitted... so I'm thinking they don't really screen!

Most have a cutoff that is set really, really low. Check www.aacom.org for each school's supplemental requirements.

The only two schools I know of that don't send secondaries to everyone is WVSOM and NYCOM.

A lot of schools have GPA cutoffs of 2.75 so if you are below that then you probably wont get a secondary. DMU has a cutoff of 3.0 in both the cum. and science GPA. NYCOM only sends secondaries to people they are thinking of interviewing, but they do send a receipt so you know they got your app. I am not sure about WVCOM, but I got a receipt, but not a secondary so far. Same for VCOM. All the other schools I applied to I have recieved secondaries for. Good luck

I didn't even get a secondary from WVSOM, only an interview invite, they must screen.

Same for me. They sent me a supplemental package only after I confirmed the interview.
