So many more little essays, so little time... I have been gone for a lot of this summer and have not had much time to work on them. Does it matter how long I take other than I lose my early application foothold?

Also, is it important to try to write as much as you can and get as close to the word/character limit as possible, or would they not care if you have a solid answer with half the limit? Specifically to Arizona's, one question wants a 500 word response explaining any extended periods with a lack of academic involvement. The longest I've had are summer breaks. Do I need to thoroughly elaborate on why I didn't take summer classes one year, or just state it in a sentence or two because I know this question is geared more towards year long absences or whatnot?

I think the normal timeframe is about 3 weeks? I could be wrong.

Wait there's a time stamp on these secondaries? They just say it to complete it as soon as possible.

Where did you get three weeks from? And is this 3 weeks from the date of your AADSAS submission?

Certain schools have some, I guess. UCSF gave me a 3 week limit, half of which I was still studying abroad without internet, and I barely got it done on time. Arizona just says to have it done by January. I was just curious that if they see that I took way too long to get it finished, that would have any impact on how they view me.
fellowstudent92, it was a 3 week limit after they sent you the link to the secondary application, not AADSAS

Oh you're talking about schools that have notified you after submitting the application and having it verified. I was talking about schools that tell you to submit the supplementals AT THE SAME TIME as when you submit the AADSAS.

Oh that I don't know. None of the schools I applied asked for anything at the same time other than money haha
