I am close to be done with working on personal statement.
In the meantime, I am trying to find more information about secondary application.
I know some schools require them and I am assuming the questions are like why are you interested in my school???
I would like to spend some time to work on those secondary essays if possible so that I can get more reviews from people so that I can write a better one.

Does who experience with secondary application essays before, how long are the essays and how long does it take you to complete it??

Here is UNC's: https://www.dentistry.unc.edu/academic/dds/supplementalapplicationinformation.cfm

Most schools don't let you have access to them ahead of time.

The typical supplement should take you a week or two to fill out. They vary widely in length--some schools have limits, others don't. However, you should always try to be concise without sacrificing quality--schools have hundreds of supplements to read, so you want to get to the point!

I think my answers to those questions initially took up about 10 pages... but I eventually whittled them down to about 5.5 pages. UNC's was LONG, though!

each school is different.. some require a simple check to be mailed in/submitted electronically. others require basic information that will take ~2mins to complete. but some have short essays (why this school? explain dental experiences? explain work experiences? research? etc)... like Glimmer said, usually will take a week. but really depends on how motivated you are to get it done (i got most of mine completed within 2 days of receiving them)

Glimmer1991, is it okay to answer the simple yes/no questions as simply yes or no? Or does this come off as not professional? Sorry to hijack your thread archonsbk!

Pretty much, but I'd still make it into a sentence.

For example, "No, I do not have any relatives who are dentists or in dental school."
