Secondary Application Fee Random Question

This might be going overboard, but did any of you send a small thank you letter with your supplemental application fee? I find it kind of odd just sending a single check in a small envelope with nothing else included.

I printed off a piece of paper with my contact information, AADSAS ID, and DENTPIN ID. I wrapped the check in the paper. I did not include a thank you or anything else.

^ the above idea is best. I typed up little flyers with my AADSAS # and Dentpin for every mailing.
