Hi everyone! Long time reader, first time starting a thread 🙂

Anyways, I was wondering what is a good way to approach the question "Why are you applying to our program?"

The obvious answer (I thought) would be to go to the school's website and find out what their school is known for and talk about how much you want to do that.

Some schools' websites don't have that much information, however. I was wondering if anyone knew any resources where I can find that kind of information. Please PM me if you don't feel comfortable sharing on the forums or anything like that.

I would search these forums for the specific schools you're looking at. Pay attention to why people decided to attend school x over school y and/or what they thought about the facilities. You can also get a gauge on a school by searching the interview forums and seeing what people liked/disliked when visiting the campus.

Thanks for the suggestions! I am currently working on a few of these questions from various schools. Any other input would be appreciated😀
