Hello I was wondering for those of you who have applied, do most medical schools mail the secondary application for medical school? Or do they email or make the application available online? I would really appreciate your input since you guys have already applied. Thank you very much. And good luck!!

They're almost always available online. You're emailed a login and a password. Sometimes you get a snailmail letter with the login and password. Other times there is a pdf form online that you complete, print, sign, and mail in. Hope that helps.

The reason I ask is because I was thinking about going out of the country in June and July when all my secondaries would be coming in. Do you think its risky since I will not be home to receive letters via male. I will internet access so I could work on those but any type of letter in "snail mail" would be inaccessible. More input would be appreciated, thank you.

you can give the schools a "summer" mailing address, you could make it your parents or a friends house so they could open any recieved secondary letters for you. although honestly I cant think of a single school I know that doesnt use online secondaries

The only one I can remember right now that sent me the login and password for the secondary via snail mail was Iowa.

If you've got internet access then you should be set. You can change your address for a few months or just have someone email you the information from anything you do receive snail mail.
