secondary apps question

so i was wondering if y'all are spending as much time perfecting the actual writing on your supplementary/secondary apps as in your personal statement? i spent lots of time on the structure and word choice of my personal statement, but i just haven't been doing that for secondaries. i mean my answers on the secondaries are no where near as poetic or eloquent as my personal statement. i'm just answering the questions they have rather than perfecting every word as in my personal statement. is that a problem? do you think it's a big deal to the adcoms? any advice would help. thanks.

I didn't spend quite as much time on secondaries. Especially the ones that you fill out online. I think it's a bad habit of mine to get in a rush when you can just push a button and it is instantly gone to the school. ASDOH, for instance, but I got an interview. I did a much better job for UCSF, as it was a mail in, and it was way long and detailed. In general though, not near as much thought and eloquent writing or review.

Just make sure that you secondary doesn't sound like it's written by my 3rd grade son, or worse yet my kindergarten daughter and that it is on par with your personal statement as far as grammar and such and you should be good. But no I was not very poetic on my secondaries.
