secondary character limits.. spaces or no?

I'm tryin to work on my secondaries. Are the character limits without spaces or with? If it's different from school to school, then I'm specifically interested in BU at the moment 😛

I think it's usually with spaces. At least, all of mine are (though I didn't apply to BU).
