Secondary Complete Date Question

I just found out that my LOR won't be ready to be mailed out until early August, which means that my secondary won't be complete until mid August.

I know lots of SDN ppl are on top of everything, but I was just wondering whether submitting my secondary sometime in August would be too late or not.

Any ideas?

August is fine man. I don't even think I got my first secondary turned in until the start of September.

Secondaries submitted in August are not too late. Remember, there are tons of folks with August MCAT's whose applications won't be complete until mid October. (I was one of those people) And even that isn't too late. Congrats for being on top of your application materails, and try to relax a bit. If it is a good letter, it is certainly worth waiting until August.

August is fine--some pre-med committees don't send out LOR packets until Sept., because that's their standard policy. Try to have everything else in so that the LOR is the last thing to complete your file, but you'll still be on the early side with an August completion. Good luck!
