Does anyone know how you can find out if your schools make cuts before they send their secondaries out? And will they send you a rejection letter, or do you just have to sort of assume that if you don't get a secondary you didn't make it? I just don't want to be sitting at home waiting for something that isn't going to come. Thanks guys.

the MSAR says what schools send secondaries to everyone. so you can work backwards from that.

Also, try calling the school, what's the worst that can happen -- they don't give you an answer???

all UC schools in cali, stanford, wake forest and u mich that I know of for sure. I know that the UC's and stanford will send out pre secondary rejections as soon as they finish reviewing your app. Pretty sure other schools send out pre-sec rejections but not sure how soon after the app review.
