One of my secondaries asks me ~ describe top three reasons you have chosen osteopathic medicine ~

I was hoping someone could direct to see if my answer is sufficient. I was planning on answering with these three reasons (in no particular order):

1. Medicine is practice of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Osteopathic medicine allows me an avenue to treat patients.
2. I am large supporter of being a solution to problems. America as a shortage of primary care physicians, and osteopathic medicine focus on producing primary care physicians to serve rural areas in an effort to provide relief to such a shortage. In this aspect, osteopathic medicine and myself share common values making it a good fit for myself.
3. I don't really have a good reasons for number three. I thought about discussing how i enjoy speaking with people, science, and working with my hands which medicine does use and need; I also thought about throwing OMM in this category. But I feel like I can discuss all of these things in the two above/or sounds like I am making stuff up by throwing OMM into the mix here

Make sure that you use examples from your experiences to justify your claims. 1 is basically you saying you want to practice medicine, but why? What experiences drove you to medicine in general? For 2, have you worked in primary care/rural settings? Or is it just something you are interested in? And as for 3, I wouldn't talk about OMM if you haven't seen OMM in practice. Really focus on using your experiences to talk about the things you mentioned, and if you don't have experiences to back them up, then write about something else

I only have 500 characters for the entirety of the question. My personal statement explains why I want to be a doctor, I have chose/am choosing osteopathic medicine for the shear fact that it allows me to be a physician and practice medicine. For me, it is no different than allopathic - both physicians are capable of treating patients. I do work in primary care and have been / am from rural settings; kind of like above, I have always been an individual to be a part of the solution - not the problem. Osteopathic schools - whether intrinsic or extrinsic - have a focus on correcting the shortage have primary care physicians in America. That shared value of wanting to be a part of the solution in America is important to me, and makes me believe that I would be a good fit. Third, I have only shadowed two osteopathic physicians for about 20 hours in total, in a primary car setting, in rural Tennessee. I have seen OMM, but only once. I think i decided that I am instead going to discuss how I am a big proponent of preventive medicine (also mentioned in my personal statement), but I believe it is another good place to list here as it is a tenet of osteopathic medicine.

^ None of this is necessarily aimed at you, just trying to explain my reasoning in an effective way to get good feedback.

EDIT: Actually, I might have 500 words, but it is still for the whole response, so it has to be short and sweet.
