Secondary Journal Name Typo, is this a bad mistake

I recently submitted my secondary application to Harvard and I had mentioned in it that I had a recent manuscript submission to a journal. However, as I prewrote the secondary essays, we originally were planning on submitting to Science Translational Medicine so I had written that in at first. But in the end we actually ended up submitting to a different journal but I forgot to make that correction in my essay. My PI who wrote me a letter of rec probably included the right journal name in his letter. Will Harvard see this as me being dishonest in my application? Can I rectify this with an application update?

This does not sound like a major issue to me. If you merely said erroneously that you were submitting the manuscript to a given journal, not that it had been published in that journal, I would leave it alone. I suspect that ad coms will understand that plans change over time. If you actually said that it was being published in the wrong journal, I would send a short and straightforward note correcting your error.
