Secondary payments w/out DAT scores?

I just e-submitted. Many of the schools I applied to request that I send a fee/secondaries/DAT scores now. However, I plan on taking the DAT mid/late june. Should I send in the fees/secondaries now and wait on the DAT scores for later? Or should I wait until I take the DAT to send everything in?

My GPA is low at 3.2 and I expect my DAT will be good. Will I get a quick rejection if I send in my app with only a low GPA and now DATs to back it up?

Mainly, should I get crackin' on secondaries, or keep studying for the upcoming DAt?

i'm in a similar situation as you are. since it will take AADSAS a few weeks to process our grades/transcripts, i am waiting to send secondary fees until after i take my DAT. the schools probably won't even see our AADSAS applications until late june/early july, so you can probably wait until after you take your DAT to submit fees and be fine!

I don't think they can reject you without any DAT scores on file, especially since you indicated that you will be taking it in June. Schools won't even have your completed app until next month anyways, since it takes AADSAS 4-6 weeks to get your app processed. You can go ahead and send in secondaries and fees for schools that require them now; you don't have to wait on DAT scores for that. Good luck with the DAT.

DAT scores take like two weeks to get processed/sent out after taking the test correct? Would it make sense to devote all of my efforts toward studying now and do secondaries etc. during the DAT processing time? It would be a great feeling to put everything aside except for the test. Afterall, my app won't be looked at until DAT scores are received if I'm not mistaken. Thanks for the replies!

Yeah, I see what you're saying. Focus on the DAT for the next few weeks and once it's over, you can start sending out secondaries. The DAT is one of the most important factors in your app, so it would be best to focus on it and do well.
