Ok, so I decided not to go out and get a passport picture taken for my secondaries. Instead, I found a good picture of me taken a year ago and edited it using my scanner and some photo editing program on my computer. The picture looks like it was scanned and its quality is not as good as an actual picture. But, I don't think a picture as good as this will ever be taken again...it's a good picture! So, do you think I should send this (even though the quality isn't as good as the original) or should I go and get a bad pic taken by some passphort photo place?

**I don't want to post my pic on SDN**

thanks!

Take the photo to Walgreen's or something and scan it on the Kodak booth thing. Designate it to print a sheet of 9 wallets (which you can then trim down to the right size with scissors). You can crop, rotate etc so that it comes out fine. I did this and my pics look fine.

are you kidding me

Yes do the Kodak thing at walgreens, when i went they were buy one sheet get one free so i got all 18 pics for 7 bucks, and I used a digital pic wearing a suit. Much better than ****ty passport photos with nasty stubble

is it necessary to wear a suit/shirt and tie or will something like a polo/lacoste shirt get the job done?

Don't stress so much. I just printed mine on a color laser at the appropriate size. I think they just use the photo to ensure that you are the correct person in the interview.

It doesn't matter so much. Send whatever you want, as long as it looks like you & doesn't look fake.

I sent a home picture and got in all over the place.

Do you have the negatives for the picture, because if you do you can always give that and get it resized at any photo developing place like walgreens or what not.

Also, did you realize at walmart there is a portrait studio, so if you want a picture that doesn't look like a mug shot you can get a glamour photo and have it printed in 2 by 2 size.
