So, I'm working on a secondary, and the question is as follows:

"If applicable, indicate any special circumstances, unusual factors or other information not previously included in your AMCAS application or this supplement that you feel the admissions committee should consider when evaluating your application"

I don't have any weird circumstances (academic probation, low MCAT, etc) that I need to discuss. It feel wrong to leave it blank, though. Any thoughts? I can write about being a little older (26) than your average appliacant, but this is stated and explained in my AMCAS essay.

thanks

It says "or other information". This means you are free to write anything you want.

Here is my experience. I applied to many schools and wrote probably 12 different essays in addition to the AMCAS essay, because many schools asked for other essays on the secondary. When I got applications that had an optional essay with vague wording (like what you described), I simply chose one of those essays and submitted it, perhaps with some modification. How could it hurt?

dude, that's your special circumstance. run with it. make sure to mention how much more MATURITY you have now...

I had a very similar question (if not the same) in one of my secondaries. I just left it blank and am quite sure I got an interview at that school (need to check my files).
