Just a question,

7-10 days to submit after receiving them too long?

The longest was GWU which was 14 days.

Just getting scared because im reading all over the place that you should get em back to the school within two days and whatnot.

My premed adviser (she happens to be the president of the national prehealth professions advisers or whatever it is, seriously) states that its probably advisable to get them out within 2-3 weeks and some of them even around ten days. True story? or should I be panicking? Goddamn SDNers and their perfect stats! (Not that im complaining GPA: 3.82, BCPM: 3.84, MCAT 31S and im not that special either)

Definitive answers please? pretty please?😕😕😕

Nah, a week or so is fine. It's holding them for weeks that's a problem. Rule of thumb is as quickly as possible, but if that's a week, you're fine.

Does it affect me in any way at all? (detrimentally that is).

I am sending out my GWU by conventional mail tomorrow via overnight also.
14 days. Too long? I really am panicking.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm sitting a few secondaries as well because I'm waiting for a letter from a physician (who's had 2 months to write it! Grrr...). Honestly, most of us are earlier than a large number of folks who apply to medical school that don't read SDN and apply really early. Just don't sit on them for weeks and weeks at a time.

At this point, you've done all you could do. It's time to step back and let GWU do the work. Look, if you're going to be accepted than you're going to be accepted, if not then no. Just look at it simply and try not to get all stressed out. Your part is done.
