Secrets for step 3

Is step 2 secrets practically the same book as step 3 crush. I just really like the format of secrets or is there an actual secrets for step 3.

They are very similar books. I bought both and read both of them. Secrets 2 was almost the same information as Crush 3. Crush had a litte more information about optho and derm stuff that was not included in Secrets 2. There is no USMLE secrets for Step 3 book. I would just read one of them before the test if I were you. I took Step 2 about a year before Step 3 and it was agonizing reading Crush 3, because it was like reading the same book again.

hey quick question, did you mean by step 2 secret is the same crush step 2 (and not crush step 3) because if step 2 secret is the same as crush step 3, then why would you need a secret format of crush step 3?

i am deciding whether to buy crush step 3 or not because i have step 2 secret, but if step 2 secret is the same as crush step 3 (as indicated by the OP), then i guess i don't really need to buy it then.

Crush 2 and USMLE step 2 secrets are almost the exact same book. Crush 3 had a little bit more information on derm and optho and a few other minor topics that I was not even tested on on Step 3 compared to USMLE step 2 secrets. I was just stating that I wish there was a new USMLE step 3 secrets book, and that had more information. I like the secrets format better than the Crush format. I would just read one of the above books, no need to stock up on more than one. The books all have the same author.

It's very hard to pin point a good book for step 3 cause of the absurdity of the tested material...
