•Provide direct patient care services, including medication therapy management and patient assessments.
•Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications, including IV infusions.
•Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through effective potential side effects, and health management strategies.
•Train and mentor pharmacy staff to enhance their skills in clinical pharmacy practices.
Qualifications
•Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
•Valid DEA license.
•Clean background check.
•Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice.
•Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical pharmacy practices.
•Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
•Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and care.
•Ability to perform patient assessments and develop individualized medication plans.
•Familiarity with compounding protocols and IV infusion procedures is highly desirable.
•Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
