Hi ya'll, WSU is my first choice school and I was hoping to get to know some of the scores (GPA, MCAT, etc.) of some of you that made it in. Maybe also any advice you can muster! I am dying to go there, it is so close to my family and also so close to my long-term guy. 😍

Any advice out there? I will prolly have around a 3.5 in both science and overall. It was higher but one semester kicked my butt (took on too much). I just took the MCAT and ... well we'll see lol. I have good ECs and LORs and a great enthusiasm for this profession! 😀

Thanks everyone, and well done on all your hard work to get where you are!!! 👍

I'm not enrolled yet, but I got in and plan to attend this fall.

GPA: 3.69
MCAT: 11, 9, 11, R
Very good E.C's

GPA 3.45
MCAT 9V, 12B, 11P, Q
On the interview just be yourself and don't lie. I know a kid who said he overdid it on one of his interviews and got rejected.
Good luck

In-state
GPA 3.4
MCAT BS12, PS8, VR9, N

Like Shangall said, be yourself during your interview. You seem sincere so that shouldn't be a problem. Good luck! :luck:

I had a 3.4 11B 11P 10V....but that was so long ago that it probably isn't relevant

In state btw. Go Blue!

I suggest you check out www.mdapplicants.com if it is stats you are looking for.

I have checked this out, there aren't a ton of WSU students on there, but I was looking for more students maybe and more advice of the whole app process and anything else that may not be on that site... thank for responding everyone!

well, the avg gpa/mcat for WSUSOM accepted students is 3.6/29 . don't worry if you have these stats and dont get interviewed right away. a friend of mine with these ones was not accepted until march. if you are considerably higher, you will probably get in earlier. i was lucky to receive an early interview and my interviewer did the same type of research that i had done the previous summer, so we had a lot to talk about. key is, to not think you have it in the bag if you have good stats. a friend of mine from last year was rejected with a 4.0/32. he is naturally pretty arrogant though- or he sends out that vibe anyways.

Ohh yeah, the word on the street is that PDAs are not going to be required for future classes.

well, the letter they sent for the year 2005 entering class just said that they were highly recommended... but not required.
