I have read the posts on this forum and have found them very beneficial. Now, I am seeking help from anyone interested.

I am trying to decide between 2 schools. I have acceptance from my home state, which is Oklahoma, and also to Colorado. I feel exceptionally lucky to be asked to attend dental school at all.

I believe both schools to have their advantages and disadvantages. I am asking for anyone that has any info. about either schools, whether good or bad, to tell all. I am having a hard time right now of being objective.

I want to thank anyone who takes the time to help answer my question. Any help is greatly appreciated

Hey greeneyez-
congrats on the acceptances! They are both good schools from what I know. My personal dentist went to OU and said, although not ranked, he would bet money that they would be in the top 5-if ranked. Now he could be homer-ing it, or it could be true-they only have 54 students, and I lived by the school at one time, so I know they have the patient pool (think dell city and midwest city, mixed in with some choctaw and those little towns and neighborhoods around the school). I have been to several dentists and by far and away the best one I have had has been the OU guy. so, although I don't know as much about CU as I do about OU, I would have to say if you have the instate connection to OU- CARPE DIEM and go sooners!

PS-where in OK do you live?

Dentalschlbound,

I did not get your PM. I have a junk mail folder and it may have went there and been deleted. I hope you have the time to send another one. Any help is needed.

greeneyez,
You might be referring to email but Dentalschlbound sent you a PM, which can be accessed by clicking on the drop down menu titled "Forum Jump," which can be found about 6 inches below my post or rather the last post. Private Messages is near the top.
Good luck with the decision making process.
