Marquette has foreign advance standing program,but it is for nearly 3 years.For futher information you can call the admissions office at (414)288-3532.

hi everyone,
i called marquette and they told me that they have like 1 seat and more than about 100 people applying for it(for advanced standing program).so the lady on the phone tried to discourage me on the phone from applying.however i asked her to send me the application.

Addmissions Offices usually try to do that, discourage you on the phone. All schools do that. So don't worry, that's just trying to scare off the weak. 😡

Besides, probably most of those 100 applicants Marquette already has, are also applying somewhere else and probably Marquette isn't their first choice 😉 So at least one has the chance to get waitlised 😛

Marquette doesn't have interviews for their regular class addmissions. I wonder if it works the same for Adv. Stn.
Anyone?

Nahhh, forget I even made the comment. I just went to their website, this is what they post as requirements:

For Foreign Advanced Standing
Application
$45 Application Fee
Letters of Recommendation (3)
Evaluation of College Credentials (transcripts)
TOEFL Test
National Boards, Part I
Personal Interview

They won't take us foreigners for granted 🙁 ....I'm sure someone has tried to falsify information before, so..... they want to make sure I guess. Good for them.

I have tried email brian trecek, but no way to get a repply. I'll much rather get an email than a phone number, 'cause long distance is expensive. Thanks!

Well, yesterday I tried emailing both addresses, but both of them bounced back. Today I tried again, so far it hasn't bounced back. I hope it doesn't. Thanks smi.🙂
