hey fellows, i am very confused about the speciality to seek. i like both orthodontics and perio-surgery which are very different. any help to define what am i seeking ??!

If you're a practicing dentist I dont know that people can provide you with too much insight here. Maybe you can talk to some of your collegeues or post this questoin on "dental town" web site or under the practicing dentists/residents forum on this site.

I don't think they are a dentist if they are asking the differences between perio and ortho... I could be wrong though haha

OP: I recommend you shadow both specialties and see if you even like them.

If you are a pre-dent, you don't know what you're seeking for.

If you are a dent student, shadow the residents at your school (assuming you have both programs).
