Hello all,
first off, thanks SO much for keeping this forum a haven to so many of us who are struggling over-achievers that often times need someone to tell us that our best is ok 🙂
I was recently rejected from my top-choice school. I called up to get details on how to improve my app, and they were vague, citing such things as "more clinical experience" and "more research experience" when everything else (the important stuff: DAT, GPA) didn't come up as needing improvement. Am i being given the run-around or will these final pieces of the puzzle make the big difference between acceptance/rejection? 😕
Do re-applicants have a better shot b/c they show persistence?
Finally, in my mind i want to focus on my DAT and bring it up---but will having lots of hours of shadowing really aid that mucH?
