If I know the ICD code of a cancer I want to look up on the SEER database, how do I search for it? It's not as straight forward as I thought..

Which version of SEER*Stat are you using?

It's the newest one (i just downloaded it from the website).

In 6.5.2, if you are in a survival session, just go to the tab marked "Selection" and click it.
A window title "Case Selection" will open; select the + tab next to"Site and Morphology" and highlight "Histologic Type ICD-0-3". Then you can either type in the ICD-O-3 code(s) for your primary site(s) from Appendix C (http://seer.cancer.gov/tools/codingmanuals/index.html), separated by commas, or you can use the "Find" button to search.....

Hope this is helpful; PM me if I can assist more.
