“Selecting” school before deadline

Is there any specific thing we need to do (besides withdrawing from other schools) before the April 30th deadline to indicate which school we’ve decided to attend?

Technically no. Once you withdraw from other schools, they will update the national acceptance report and you will no longer be on their lists

I suggest people contact their final school, and express that they are your final decision
