Can anyone recommend resources for self-study for the following med school subjects?

Biochemistry
Physiology
Pharmacology
Microbiology

I would like to spend a year or two becoming somewhat familiar with those topics before starting med school.

I'd say take some undergrad classes in the subjects.... but it won't help too much

There is really no point in doing this. I would actually discourage it, I was well aware of some classes (Histo, Biochem, Anatomy, Physio) and all it did was make me want to study less because I had seen it before and I didn't want to get me reps in with the material. You don't NEED to take medical school before going to medical school. Take pottery or something, more cathartic. (see: Ghost)
