Greetings,

I just had a concern that I hope you gunners out there could give me your take on.

Currently I am taking 12 semester hours, which is a all science schedule that includes Organismal Biology, Organic Chemistry I(Honors), and Physics(Mechanics) with all the labs.

Here is a list of my extracurriculars that perform every week:

Tutoring: 3.5 Hours
Research in human gut microbiota lab: 5 hours
Volunteer at Health Clinic: 3 hours
Volunteer at Soup Kitchen: 3 hours

Now I realize that some people think adcom's want to see 18 hour semesters to prove that you can handle the load, but do you think my hours plus my extracurriculars look favorable?

Take also into consideration I cannot afford to take more than 12 hours per semester.

Thanks!

IMHO as long as you are a full-time student, I would think that how well you do in the classes is more important than how many hours you have
