Well,
I called my university and they said that 1 unit = 3 quarter hours.
Then i called the two community colleges that I transfered course work from and they said that 1 semester unit = 1 hour
So...
For a 3 unit class at my university (that goes by the quarter system) = 90 quarter hours
Correct? (3 units x 3 x 10 weeks)
Now for community college...HERE is where i'm confused:
For a 5 unit class at community college based on the semester system = 80 semester hours?
What I don't understand is that on my community college transcript one of my classes is listed as 5 units whereas on my university transcript where it was transferred to, the class is 7.5 units.
Do I convert the community college class based on the 5 units and the 1 hour per unit conversion
OR
Do I convert the community college class based on the 1 unit = 3 hours quarter system conversion and do I multiply that by 7.5 units listed on my university transcript????
Please help....
