Hey guys, I'm just curious what you think. Would it be beneficial to have a bio prof. that I currently have write me a letter saying that NYCOM will only benefit from me being taken off the waitlist and to mention that I have shown a lot of interest in attending? I don't think that it would hurt at all, but I'm not sure if it would help. I see it as almost a supplement to my letter of intent so maybe it would be looked upon favorably? Let me know what you think!

It looks like I need to learn to spell 'additional' too...I guess I'll put it on my list of things to do! 😀

I think it couldn't hurt. I am sending one to LECOM from my functional genomics professor. I like sending things so they know how interested I still am! I don't think it can hurt at all. 👍 🙂

One of the applicants that I interviewed with at LECOM-B was put on the alternate list. She was told by the staff there that anything she could add to her file, LORs, etc. would help her move off of the list more quickly. Is it the case with NYCOM? Who knows...but I don't think that it could hurt.
