Send application without DAT or wait?

Hi do you think it is better to send an application without the DAT score, or wait until I take it so it can all look ready together? I was planning to take it near the end of July.

I'm with you on this one. I'm in the same situation. Do we submit the application and pay all this money having not taken the DAT? What if by chance we do poorly on the DAT? At that point wouldn't it have been more prudent to save the money for the next time around?

I'm also wondering what the advantages are to e-submitting before taking the DAT.

I'm with you guys on this one too :/ what I did, which seemed like a good option, was I picked one school and submitted my application a few days ago. This way, my LOR can be complete and gpa etc can be verified. That way, when I take my exam July 3rd, I can pick a more realistic set of schools and all I have to do is pay the fee and my application will be sent. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

But doesn't that lock you in to only applying to one dental school? Can you add schools after e-submitting? I didn't think you could.

Sure you can. You can keep going back and adding as long as the school's deadline hasn't gone by.

Send without the DAT. That way when your DAT sends to the school you don't have to wait on them receiving and processing the rest of your application.
