Hey guys, I'm a re-applicant and took the DAT's last year in July. I'm planning to re-take them again in mid-September. I also just sent out my AADSAS application last week. Now, I understand that some schools require you to send official DAT scores at the same time that the AADSAS application is sent out. So my question is, should I send them my old official DAT scores for now, and then send them again after I re-take the DAT in September? Or should I wait and just send them in September? I'm just afraid that it will be late for schools to receive my scores if I send the request in September.......Thanks!

Hey

You should send your AADSAS as soon as possible. Just indicate on your application that you plan on taking the DAT in Septemeber. that would be your best option. No need to send in your old dat scores.

I already did send out my AADSAS application, and I did indicate in the application that I am taking the DATs again in September. But, I want to know whether I should send my official scores right now or wait until after I take the DATs again in September. I don't want schools to have to wait for my scores for too long.

wait til after the retake, no use in spending money twice..hopefully you indicated on your application your old scores AND the date of your future DAT

I did put my old scores on the app and the put the date of my future DAT, but don't schools put your application on hold until they receive "official" scores?

Regardless they will put your file on hold until they receive your new scores if you indicated that you are going to retake it.
