why would you do it if they haven't asked you to??
they dont go by looks...
OHHH man, if they did!!! I'll have 30 interviews out of the 19 schools I applied to. LOL
on a serious note... NO. Probably NOT. You shouldn't if they haven't asked you for one.

TRUE. Yeah. I wasn't sure. SDN is my only source of info for this application cycle stuff.....
I guess I'll stick with the ones that say 2x2 photo!
Those must be the shallow schools...

I'm not on an admissions committee but if I was... I would think twice about extending an interview (not to mention a letter of acceptance) to someone who did not follow the simple instructions...
I sent in photos and I got interviews 🙂 I guess I should not have, but oh well. I doubt they care. If they didn't ask for it, they'll probably just toss it.
Thanks for that post. After people being astonished that I would ask such a question you made me feel better about even asking.
Is it a bad idea to add a photo with the checks I sent to all schools?
I know some of them require the 2x2 photo, but do the rest like them but not necessary ask for them?
Should I do it?
Don't send them a photo. However, if you like, you may send me a photo at your earliest convenience 😉. I shall determine if you are worthy of an interview or not for my school.
I sent in photographs to almost every school I applied to. I don't see how the admissions committee would find it as negative since it shows to them we are actually interested in their school. I'm not saying sending a photo of yourself is going to make any difference at all in their decision, I just don't see how it can affect you negatively.
