send update to schools?

Hey guys/gals,

My secondaries were completed at all the DO schools over the last couple weeks. However, at the last moment, i decided to enroll and A&P 1 and Microbiology at my community college this last monday. Do you think I should call or email the schools and let them know I am taking two more science classes (i only have a 3.1 science GPA as it is) or would it not be of any use? Thanks everyone.

I would email them and tell them..cant hurt. and gets your name in front of them. Ask them to add the email to yoru file.

IMO I dont think they would be terribly interested in knowing that you enrolled in the courses, but they would be interested in knowing the progess of the courses. Unfortunately any grades will likely be coming very late in the interview season.

But as Amy said (she is a good person to get advice from BTW) it does bring your name to the forefront. Generally schools like to get updates that deal with community service, additional LOR and new grades that come in.
