Send us "x,y,z" at the same time as AADSAS....???

In the ADEA website, there is a link called "Participating Dental Schools". In here there is specific "extra" stuff you must send to the schools you have chosen. They typically ask for you to "Send at the same time you send AADSAS material" a combination of the following:

a) $$ (App. Fee)
b) DAT scores (for me, late August)
c) Photos
d) Transcripts

Are you all sending out checks left and right for $65.00 a pop (or whatever), and sending extra copies of your transcripts, etc. ??? Or are you all waiting to hear from them first before sending them any app. fee checks ? I am really reluctant to start giving out checks at this point. 😕 👎

I say that you should follow directions. If they want it now, give it now. If it says wait, then wait until...they say to send it. Send the DAT requests when you sign up for the DAT, then add requests for more scores if needed later. I'm convinced that the admissions process is mostly about following directions (proper pre-reqs, in-state reqs, letters from the right people, deadlines, photo, and cash). If you apply to ten schools you are probably looking at about $1000 in apps and fees plus travel expenses for interviews. If you don't have your own meth lab, I suggest you get a credit card.

If the school states to send something at the same time as your application submission to AADSAS you should send it to prevent any delays for the school to look at you application. Otherwise, the schools won't consider your application complete and they will notify you to send the stuff in and so you will be delayed a few weeks probably.
