Sending an Updated Transcript

So, I had taken Physics I in first year and received a C- . Thus, I decided to retake it, which I did this year and I received an A+. I was wondering if it was possible and/or necessary for me to send the schools that I applied to an updated transcript because of this new grade (which is a pre-req for many schools).

Sending official transcript wont do anything to change AMCAS GPA. It may be worthwhile to send update and/or note it in secondary.
