Hey guys what do you think I should do? I took my dat in sept 06 and am planning to retake in july 07. I just submitted my aadsas and i need to send my scores asap, however, it costs so much to send it right now, and then again in july( i applied to a lot of schools). do you think i should send them twice or just send in end of july?

also: how do you know how many people have submitted before you or what your number is in line?

thank you!

when you retest in July both sets of scores will be sent. ADA sends scores no later than 3 weeks after the test date. If you are submitting before June 1st AADSAS could take up to 8 weeks to process your app and send it out. With your timeline your updated DAT scores will arrive at about the same time as your AADSAS apps. I would personally save the money and only send the retested scores. If for some reason ADSAS sends out your application really early it still isn't worth it to send your earlier scores since you are likely indicating that you are retesting on AADSAS so your applications should be on hold until they get the updated scores.

Unless you are applying to schools that interview in Sept or August, you'll be fine sending just the July scores. Ideally, you'll be testing earlier in the month rather than later. August completion is not a late application. You should double check on when your schools want the secondary application and materials and send those in as early as they will take them.
