Sending DAT Scores

I was reading the supplemental information on the AADSAS website and saw that some schools want official DAT scores sent directly to them from the ADA at the same time the AADSAS is submitted. Will the scores uploaded on AADSAS suffice or will I have to contact the ADA and tell them to send out individual score reports to designated schools?

You need to arrange to have official scores sent (via ADA) to each and every school you plan on applying to (which takes place via AADSAS). Based on a phone conversation with an ADA official I had today, you need to have the official scores sent to any given dental school (through ADA) in order for AADSAS to even forward that score to the school.

When would you suggest sending the scores to each school? I do not think there is a DAT matching form so could you send them before June 1st so the schools receive them around the time the AADSAS opens?

One last question if you do not mind! For the supplemental application fees...are those payable on AADSAS or do you have to send checks out directly to the schools?

You pay the schools directly.... most of them are living in the stone age (AKA ~ send in check or money orders)... Only select few are taking advantage of online paying (credit card)

Other than the schools you listed when you signed up to take your DAT, you have to pay ADA $25 per additional school to *allow* AADSAS to release your scores to those schools.
