Hi,

I'm currently on the waitlist for 2 schools with 0 acceptances. I just received a really strong letter of recommendation from my volunteer supervisor and was planning on sending it directly to these schools along with a letter of intent. The problem is that he gave me a single copy of a physical letter on his letterhead. Does anyone know the best way to send these documents to the schools? Thanks for your help.

At this point in the cycle, schools won't be picky about this type of thing. Scan the physical copy you have and send it to the admissions email of each respective school. They'll add it to their file. Make sure to express just how interested you are in attending the school and why you think you fit in with them.

when i was waitlisted, i asked my volunteer supervisor to directly send the LOR to schools separately on the admission emails. I called the schools to check if they have received it. I sent letter of intent directly to admission email.

I sent letters directly to schools by using interfolio. Keeps it confidential so that schools will accept it

Do you remember how you did this? Did you just provide the school with the document email?

You request a letter through interfolio. So the letter writer gets an email that you requested a confidential letter. Then they write the letter, sign it, scan it, and upload it through the link in the email. Once it's uploaded you'll get an email saying it's uploaded and from there you can send it wherever you want. It's a really nice service
