Is this possible to do? My friend interviewed a week ago and wants to send a good physician LOR to the school. Is it too late? It has been 2 years since I did this process and don't remember!

Thanks

It's definitely possible to still add it on AMCAS, not sure about DO however. If it's added, it will get read. It can't hurt, unless of course the recommendation is bad.

I did this....one of the MDs I work with offered to write one, so of course I sent it. I don't think this would be a problem, but I imagine it won't hold too much weight if you're already being interviewed.

Depends on the school. It would be good to just call and ask. One school I interviewed at didn't read LOR's until after the interview anyway.

Thanks guys -- it's an MD school and I think they are cool with it. Like you said, probably won't hold too much weight but better then not sending it i guess
