Sending out of STEP 1 scores

I have a dumb question. Does your school get your step 1 score before you do??

Yes your school does get the scores before you do. All scores are released on Wednesday of every week except when there are major holidays (the didn't release any scores the week of Christmas, not sure about other holidays). I found out from my school on Wednesday and got the results in the mail 3 days later.

So I guess they get it electronically. I was talking to an administrator at my school and I was discussing where I might be going for rotations, and he asked me what if you get a --- on the test?, because some rotations spots dont require a board score. And then he kept congratulating me for taking the test (weird). So I was figuring, was he trying to give me a hint, but technically he could not tell me. I took the exam on Jan 30. I spoke to him on friday, and I was already thinking I would get the scores this week. Thanks Jim.
