sending pre-health composite letter in summer

I have done several searches on this subject and did not find the answer I was looking for so I started a new thread. My school does the composite letter. My pre-health adviser said that the pre-health committee does not meet in the summer so they will be able to send the composite letter which has a cover letter which is done by all of the pre-health committee members. However, my adviser did say that he can send the 5 recommendation that I requested from individual faculty.

My question is: can I send the partial composite with just the 5 recommendations now so that I don't have to wait until september when the committee members meet? How do med schools look at this?

Also, I could ask the committee to send the full composite in fall when they meet, if needed

You can send it as a letter packet from your school. The cover letter is not make or break.

strange...but it happens some time. I just choose from a list of available avatars. Are you applying this year as well?

P.S. I have decided to wait until I get the complete committee evaluation in August.

No🙁 I'll be applying next summer for entrance in fall 2011. I still need to get orgo under my belt to finish my reqs!! Plus Im terrified of the MCAT!!!!
