Sending scores

So, i took my DAT in January and i selected 5 schools where the scores should be sent. So, the scores will be sent in next 2-3 weeks but i will be applying in summer 08. Will the college hold my scores until then or can i ask ADA to hold the scores till then?
Or will i be paying for EVERY schools to send scores?

Tricky question...I am actually not sure how it would work out.

My guess is that they probably won't hold onto it unless you specifically tell them to do so.

I called UoP recently and they told me that they keep DAT scores for 2 years after they receive them. Every school is probably different, so you might want to call around and make sure they have your scores when it's about time to send in your application.

So, in May, when i will pay ADA to send my scores, do the scores are sent directly to the colleges or to AADSAS? And how long does it take?

It takes about 3 weeks or for the schools to receive the scores. I think. They don't have to be processed like other parts of your application by AADSAS.

So, i would have to pay ADA for the scores right after i submit my application?

I was in the same boat as you. I took the dat jan 07 and applied in the summer. The schools that I dealt with usually opened a temp file for my dat scores, but some of them didnt automatically appear into the official file. I had to remind the admissions dept that I sent them in jan, and it was never a problem.
