I know AACOMAS requires us to submit transcripts for verification but do we have to send transcripts to all applied medical schools prior to the interview ? I e-mailed my pre med office and no one has gotten back to me on this. I know Touro NY says it isn't a requirement but it is highly recommended to get them in before a interview. SO does it just depend on a school ? If AACOMAS verifies why do we even have to send them? I took classes at 4 undergrad institutions so it's going to cost a lot JUST sending transcripts out.

I was under the assumption that after you submit them to AACOMAS you're good to go.

You don't have to send in transcripts again before the interview. Only if you get accepted to the school, you will have to send in transcripts before matriculation if you have any ongoing classes that you are taking right now.

You'll end up having to send them regardless for matriculation
